ABU DHABI – Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, paid a farewell call on Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), in Abu Dhabi yesterday.

The meeting reflected the longstanding brotherly ties between the two nations and the shared commitment to strengthening collaboration.

Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi underlined the importance of enhancing flight operations between Pakistan and the UAE. He noted the significant potential in civil aviation to bring economic and strategic benefits to both countries, while opening fresh avenues of cooperation.

UAE-Pakistan ties

Ambassador Tirmizi expressed gratitude for the support extended by the UAE leadership and people during his tenure. He praised Al Suwaidi’s role in advancing civil aviation links and reaffirmed Pakistan’s appreciation for the hospitality shown.

Senior officials from both sides also attended the meeting, underscoring the importance attached to the partnership.
